The best place to find reasonably priced desserts is Aldi. This week’s Aldi lineup features a variety of Fall products, and one in particular caught my attention: the Sundae Shoppe Strawberries and Cream Rose Cones.
As a regular AOS shopper, I’ve bought many food items from Aldi. However, I rarely had the chance to grab these cones, as they got sold out during Valentine’s Day. So, you can imagine my excitement when I finally got to try them!

Produced by the renowned ice cream company Leone, these cones are held to some of the highest standards in frozen desserts.

When you unwrap the silver packaging and remove the protective plastic bubbles, you’ll be greeted by the beautiful rose-shaped cream art on top. The strawberry “flower” is stunning and tastes like a smooth mousse—completely different from the sherbet-like texture I had anticipated based on what some friends had told me. My family became instant fans, which meant I had to share these delicious cones, leaving me wanting more!
The cocoa-flavored waffle cone has a natural and subtle chocolate flavor, without that typical preservative taste. The ingredients include coconut milk, soy, wheat flour, and peanuts, so if you have any allergies, you’ll need to pass on these lovely rose cones.

These rose cones are too beautiful and taste scrumptious. I loved it, but as far as I have noticed, the Strawberries and Cream Rose Cones are selling out quickly, and being an Aldi find, we never know when it will be back in the Aisle. Unfortunately, finding an alternative for this has been one herculean task; I suggest getting it from Aldi’s as a similar product is unavailable.
Is it a Good Deal?
This was the most promising and luscious purchase of all the sweets and desserts I recently purchased from Aldi. It is a perfect gift for both your partner and yourself.
