Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty is Back at Aldi, and Chocolate Lovers are Stocking Up Fast!

Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty

The excitement is high when Christmas is just around the corner. Aldi, our favorite supermarket chain, captures this excitement with their wide range of holiday products.

One such special drink we will discuss today is the Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty. Whenever the Holiday season is around the corner, Aldi introduces an interesting wine collection. The Petit Chocolat is part of their specialty wine collection.

Under this collection, you will find several other fruity and flavourful wine options. My favorites are Petit Coconut & Petite Peppermint Bark. These flavourful and aromatic wines can be used for several cocktails and make delicious desserts, enabling multiple recipes.

I have tried their other wines from the specialty wine collection, and now I am curious to try the Petit Chocolat Wine.

Let me tell you more about the Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty, and then you can decide whether you should get this for your parties.

Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty

Petit Chocolat Wine is available as seasonal wine in a limited edition wine collection. The Aldi website mentions it as “see the price in the store.” The price of Petit Chocolat Wine may vary from state to state because every state has different laws and taxes on alcohol.

However, the only thing that kept me on edge about this product, and I assume everyone would agree, was that the price of the wine would be discovered only when you visit the store. I didn’t want to be disappointed if the product was priced higher than expected.

I got the Petit Chocolat Wine for $7.99 at my nearest Aldi store. Either it will be similar or slightly higher.

I heard praise-worthy things about Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty from some of my friends. So, I was already hyped about this wine. After trying the coconut wine, I became curious about the petit chocolat wine.

Petit Chocolat is a red wine with a beautiful tinge of fine dark chocolat and a lovely creamy texture. The taste of wine is sweet with a cream texture, but it doesn’t overpower the wine flavor. Instead, it beautifully complements the flavor of wine.

To get an idea of how it tastes, you can imagine it tastes like chocolat Baileys Irish Cream.

I prefer adding Choclat wine with the Whisky. Try it and thank me later. You can also use Petit Chocolat Wine to make boozy baked goods. You can make cookies, brownies, or drizzle on top of ice cream.

A friend of mine suggested putting some chocolat wine in a smoothie. I know it sounds weird, but to my surprise, it tastes good.

You can also pair the Chocolat wine with strawberries. Now, this is a perfect combination for when I would like to have my next glass of chocolat wine.

Alternatives to Petit Chocolat Wine

The Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty is a wine with a unique flavor texture. If you have tasted this wine before, I bet you will also get it this time. But, being a seasonal wine, people may line up to buy the wine and get sold out soon. If you still want to have something similar, I have mentioned some similar wine options:

Our wine alternative is an interesting one called the Apres Limited Edition Wine Kit. It is called a chocolate mocha dessert wine, which is an interesting option. This kit lets you make 3 gallons of wine in 6 weeks. Yes, it is a DIY kit instead of the premade bottled version.

Another interesting option, which is a bottled option like the Aldi one, is Chocovine. The packaging is beautiful, and the texture is smooth and creamy.

Final Thoughts

Definitely yes! The Petit Chocolat Wine Specialty is a delicious wine for yourself or a great gift-giving option. The taste is amazing, with a perfect balance between the fruity punch of wine and the chocolate flavor.

Moreover, the quality and quantity you get for the estimated price seem great. The taste is unique, and if you find it interesting, then you should buy it from Aldi as soon as possible because once gone, it’s hard to know when they will come back.
