The Famous Crofton Bento Box is Back at Aldi (Grab Yours Now!)

Many of us like to carry our lunch in a bento box during the summer. I pack extra fruits and snacks in airtight bento boxes for my kids. This week, the Crofton Bento Box has arrived on the Aldi Finds Aisle, and I couldn’t be happier.

Every year, Aldi’s Crofton releases their newly designed bento-style lunch boxes. This week, I saw the bento boxes in a new and unique style, drastically improving the built quality. I loved the colors and looks of the boxes, so I got one too.

For this week, Aldi has a similar lunch box specially designed for strictly calorie-conscious people. It is the Crofton Portion Perfect Collapsible Meal Kit. The box looks great, and I bought one for my husband. You must check that out as well.

Now, let’s get into this quick review guide of the Aldi’s Bento Box and see if it’s a good deal for you. 

Crofton Bento Box

The Crofton Bento Box is now available as an Aldi Find, starting from 07/24/24 at just $4.99. It is available in 2 and 3-compartment containers with a multi-color set or an assortment of grey. 

Each container comes with a spork gripped on the top of the lid. The Crofton Bento Box is great for on-the-go quick meals or lunch. The 2-compartment box has a 550ml main section and a 225ml of the side section. 

The 3-compartment box also has a 550 ml main section and 100 ml in the side sections. Aldi claims that the Crofton Bento Boxes are dishwasher safe, and the body base is microwave safe.

I haven’t tried doing either of them. I am handwashing them and will probably avoid putting them in my microwave. However, I must say that the new Crofton Bento boxes are very sturdy. I like the depth of each section, as it holds up a lot of food. 

Here I have packed the tiffins. Today I saw many other customers pick up the Crofton Bento Box sets. So I am sure they’ll be sold out fast. If you want to buy this, you must grab it as soon as possible before it runs out of stock.

Alternatives to Crofton Bento Box:

Finding an exact dupe of these cute bento boxes was a difficult task. However, I found a few alternatives on Amazon that are similar to the Crofton Bento Box. 

Firstly, check out the Buluker Bento Lunch Box. Each box has three compartments, and the material is microwave and freezer-safe. You can easily carry it in a backpack or a lunch bag with a home-cooked lunch, fruit, salad or dessert. 

Then we have the Mfacoy 3 Pack Bento Box for Adults/Kids. It is made from BPA-free, making it an ideal lunch box for packing healthy and odourless food. Each compartment contains spoons and a fork inside.

You can also invest in the Monbento Original MB Bento Lunch Box. It comes as a two-tier food container, where each compartment has an airtight lid and a plastic band holding them together.
